Mellissa at Shakesville states that homophobia in men comes from the fear that homosexual men will treat them the same way that they treat women.

Seriously though, its really scary to think about how (some) men at least subconsiously understand that they don’t treat women well, but...

Hiding in the bathroom at the pub
even though there’s a good band playing, because crowds make me feel like I’m about to faint. Sometimes I do faint. Go body!
